Soyulla Artists is a group of talented performers dedicated to sharing their gifts with others. We are committed to teaching children and adults alike through private lessons; we are dedicated to providing performance opportunities for artists of the highest caliber; and we are devoted to presenting special music programs to New York City schools. Our roster includes alumni of prestigious conservatories such as Juilliard, Curtis and the Manhattan School of Music, who have performed in renowned venues such as Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall and have established international careers.

Founded in 2001, Soyulla was formed under the premise that everyone has a place in the arts regardless of any perceived limitations. The concept of Soyulla Artists originated from Director Jae M. Shin's experiences while a student at The Juilliard School. Through a scholarship, she was able to teach children who would not otherwise have had an opportunity to study music. As a result of this program, she also performed for the elderly and those with terminal illnesses and mental illnesses. These experiences showed her the tremendous benefits and healing power of music and the arts. Ms. Shin has since sought out those gifted artists who not only share her passion for the arts, but who also understand the life-changing impact that can be experienced through creative expression.

Soyulla consists of three branches: Private Lessons in music, drama and dance to serve the individual, Soyulla Stars! to impact young artists and their audiences, and Center Stage to broaden the horizons of our community.
