Devin B.

Piano and Voice

 

Devin is a singer, piano man, performer and composer most known for writing and performing as a solo act and with his band The Secret Service.  Devin began singing and playing jazz standards at the age of 11 before eventually getting accepted into the University of Miami, where he received a Bachelor of Music in Jazz performance.

 

As a performer, Devin has opened multiple shows for the legendary music icon and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Lloyd Price. Devin has also shared the stage with such jazz greats as Kurt Elling, Jon Secada and Kevin Mahogany and has worked with a world-renowned producer, Phil Ramone. In addition to performing in top-tier venues across New York City, Devin has recently released his first full-length LP “Shaken Not Stirred” (Part I), which won The Global Music Award for best male vocalist and outstanding achievement in music.  

 

A passionate educator, Devin has taught piano, voice and songwriting to students of all ages, skill levels and backgrounds. His teaching philosophy includes believing that every student is unique in the way they learn, conceptualize and progress. As a teacher, he tries to find the best and most successful way to engage his students and make learning fun and exciting.
