She has participated in the Aspen Music Festival in 2017 and 2016, the Miami Music Summer Festival in 2015, and the NYU Summer Intensive in 2015. Isabella has had the honor of working with many world renowned musicians such as Yefim Bronfman, Stephen Hough, Richard Goode, Jerome Rose, Vladimir Feltsman, Vitaly Margulis, Anne Schein, and John Perry.

A native of Shenzhen, China, Isabella started the piano at the age of seven and violin at the age of nine. She is a graduate of The Mannes School of Music, where she studied with J.Y. Song and Pavlina Dokovska and was awarded the Presser Undergraduate Scholar Award as well as the Steinway & Sons Piano Award by the Dean. She is currently pursuing her Master of Music at The Juilliard School of Music.

With close to ten years of teaching experience, Isabella has worked with students of all ages and skill levels and frequently accompanies students in recitals, concerto competitions, and auditions. As an educator, she is keenly aware of how important it is to keep young students interested and engaged during lessons and believes that it is the teacher’s responsibility to provide the guidance each student needs while keeping the lessons exciting and fun!
