Jenny T.
Voice
Jenny T. has had a love of singing and theater since she was a young girl, when she began staging shows in her garage at home. She was a voice performance major/piano minor during college and thought she would pursue opera, but switched to musical theater after her first college stage performance as the Narrator in “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.” She’s played many roles in both Equity and non-Equity houses. Her favorite roles include Mrs. Lovett (“Sweeney Todd,”) Reno Sweeney (“Anything Goes”) and Mrs. Claus in the national tour of “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer,” a role she played for 4 years.
Jenny has been a member of Actor’s Equity since 2017. She has won six Column Awards in her hometown of Dallas, Texas. She has served as a judge at the Betty Buckley Awards for two years. She has been a vocal coach and piano teacher for the past 10 years out of her home studio and specializes in audition preparation and Musical Theater pedagogy.
Jenny’s firm belief is that you can teach a person anything, but they will continue to learn if it brings them joy. She wishes to help her students find their joy and thrive in it.
