Ling Ling, originally hailing from Australia, received her Bachelors of Music Degree with Honors at the University of Melbourne Conservatorium of Music and her Masters of Music Degree Magna Cum Laude at the Manhattan School of Music, both on scholarship. 20 years of piano playing and 6 years teaching have provided her with a wide range of experience in teaching, performing and accompanying.

Performances and recital engagements have brought Ling Ling to the likes of BMW Edge, Melba Hall, Verbrugghen Hall, Melbourne Recital Centre, St Johns Southgate, ABC Iwaki Auditorium, Griffith Theatre, Ettlingen Schloss, He Luting Hall, Costa Hall and many more. Her competition successes include being winner of the 2012 Matana Foundation Scholarship for Young Musicians, and finalist at the 2017 AMF awards. She also has had the opportunity to compete at the 2012, 2013 Ettlingen and 2015 Lev Vlassenko International Piano Competitions. She has won numerous 1st prizes at Australian eisteddfods and also enjoys making music together in chamber or collaborative settings.

Passionate about community and contributing to the arts, Ling Ling was an avid performer at nursing home concerts and a consistent volunteer at charity concerts to fundraise for the music community back home in Australia.
When it comes to teaching, she will gladly share her knowledge gained through masterclasses with the likes of Christopher Elton, Tamas Ungar, Robert McDonald and Tuija Hakkila among others as well as a Russian based tutelage received from Igor Machlak and Olga Kern. Ling Ling believes in building rapport with students and the focus is on adapting to each and every student in order to understand their abilities, goals and limitations. Her philosophy lies in promoting personal growth and pushing boundaries comfortably so that students can be the absolute best version of themselves!
