Nancy G. holds a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree in Classical Guitar with honors from the New School of Music, where she studied under the guidance of well-renowned classical guitarist Costas Cotsiolis. She also holds a Master's Degree in Musicology and Fine Arts from Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, Greece.

Nancy works extremely well with students of all levels and ages, having 25 years of teaching experience. Her exuberant, supportive, and inspiring teaching style motivates her students to cultivate their musical talents. She teaches basic to advanced technique, musical phrasing and expression, note reading, and music theory, to name a few major areas.

Nancy's original music has been at the top of major charts. Most notably, "I Wanna Be Your Star" reached the #2 spot on CMJ’s (College Music Journal) Top Jazz Adds Chart in the USA and Canada.Nancy currently performs with her trio in the New York City and Philadelphia area, performing at venues that include the legendary Birdland, the 55 Bar, Minton’s, and The Zinc Bar.
