Eric is an up and coming guitarist, bassist, composer, arranger and producer. He can be found performing all over the tri-state area as a solo artist and as part of groups such as The Erica Seguine/Shannon Baker Jazz Orchestra, The Bob Bennett Quintet and Robot Mommy; composing and arranging music for everything from big band to string quartet; and producing albums such as The Pointless Forest's "The POINT!".

As a part of sharing his enthusiasm for music Eric enjoys working with developing musicians. His teaching approach strives to nurture the seeds of the creative musician while illuminating the rewards of methodically working towards goals. He believes each student is unique, has different goals and needs, and his lesson plans are tailored to be most beneficial to each student.

Eric began his career in Arizona where he participated in the All-State Jazz Band, Sedona Jazz on the Rocks Youth Band and received the Louis Armstrong Jazz Award. He received a Master of Music degree in Jazz Composition and Arranging as well as a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Guitar Performance from the prestigious Jazz Studies program at William Paterson University in New Jersey after studying with Jim McNeely, Cecil Bridgewater, Rich DeRosa, James Weidman, Gene Bertoncini and Paul Meyers. Eric believes that learning is a never-ending process and continually seeks out masters to further his own studies.
