JAE SHIN

Director and Founder

Ms. Shin holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Vocal Performance from The Juilliard School, and has also studied Piano and Chemistry at Northwestern University. In addition to being an active and critically acclaimed vocalist both home and abroad, Ms. Shin has over 20 years of teaching experience.

TERESA SHYR

Artistic Director

Teresa Shyr received her BM in Music Education from the Eastman School of Music and her BA in Art History from University of Rochester. She is also an Arts Leadership Program Certificate Fellow and a recipient of the Certificate of World Music.  Teresa is a classically trained pianist with vast experience in arts administration, from small non-profits to large institutions, often with components of social justice and accessible art.

JULIA HOFFMANN

Artistic Administrative Associate

Julia Hoffmann holds her BFA in Acting Shenandoah Conservatory and is a proud National Theater Institute and Moscow Art Theater alumna. In addition to acting, Julia is a professional violinist/fiddler and was previously seen on the national tours of Once the Musical (U/S Girl, Réza, Ex-Girlfriend), Rockin' Road to Dublin (Female Fiddler), Cirque Musica (Flying Violinist) and Christmas in Killarney (Fiddler). You can catch Julia playing and singing around NYC!

REGINA MORGAN

Administrative & Executive Associate

Regina Morgan received her MA in Music, Vocal Performance from Boston University and her BA in Vocal Performance from Sam Houston State University. Regina is a classically trained vocalist with experience on opera, musical theatre, and chamber ensemble stages. In addition to performance, she is an arts advocate and creative strategist with experience in arts education and administration for non-profit arts institutions.

ELIZABETH WALSH

Administrative Assistant

Elizabeth Walsh is a composer and performer who specializes in microtonalities and improvisation. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in music from Vassar College, and her MA in Music Theory and Composition from Montclair State University. She studied piano for many years, and is now primarily a bassist and guitarist. She mostly records and performs around the New York City area.

Lessons are customized to your skills and goals.  Enjoyment is as important as learning.
