JAE SHIN

Director and Founder

Ms. Shin holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Vocal Performance from The Juilliard School, and has also studied Piano and Chemistry at Northwestern University. In addition to being an active and critically acclaimed vocalist both home and abroad, Ms. Shin has over 20 years of teaching experience.

SEBASTIAN KIM

Administrative Director

Sebastian Kim is pursuing an M.M. in Piano Performance and Pedagogy at NYU, where he is also an adjunct faculty member. A virtuosic pianist and expert on Romantic-period music, his recent New York engagements including playing Steinway Hall, the DiMenna Center, and Riverside Theatre. In addition to performance, he is a seasoned arts administration professional and passionate teacher on Soyulla's roster.

JULIA HOFFMANN

Artistic Director

Julia Hoffmann holds her BFA in Acting Shenandoah Conservatory and is a proud National Theater Institute and Moscow Art Theater alumna. Julia is a professional violinist/fiddler and was previously seen on the national tours of Once the Musical (U/S Girl, Réza, Ex-Girlfriend), Rockin' Road to Dublin (Female Fiddler), Cirque Musica (Flying Violinist) and Christmas in Killarney (Fiddler). You can catch Julia playing and singing around NYC!

ELIZABETH WALSH

Administrative Assistant

Elizabeth is a composer and performer who specializes in microtonalities and improvisation. She received her

Bachelor's Degree in Music from Vassar College, and her MA in Music Theory and Composition from Montclair State University. She studied piano for many years and is now primarily a bassist and guitarist. She mostly records and performs around the New York City area.

Our teachers travel to New Jersey, Connecticut, and Long Island, NJ, CT, LI
Soyulla teaches and performs in New York City, NYC, Upper West Side, Upper East Side, Tribeca, SoHo, UWS, UES, Brooklyn, Queens
