She went on to earn her BFA in Acting from Shenandoah Conservatory and is a proud alumna of the Moscow Art Theater and the National Theater Institute.
Julia has toured internationally with Broadway and regional productions including Once the Musical (U/S Girl, Réza and Ex-Girlfriend), Rockin' Road to Dublin (Female Fiddler), Cirque Musica: Holiday Wishes (Flying Violinist), and Christmas in Killarney (Fiddler). She has appeared with the Hershey and Harrisburg Symphony Orchestras and performed at iconic venues such as Radio City Music Hall, 54 Below, Green Room 42, Rockwood Music Hall, Arlene’s Grocery, The Bitter End, Bowery Electric and Sony Hall, collaborating with artists like Jane Krakowski, Hailee Steinfeld, Glen Hansard, Markéta Irglová (The Swell Season), John Gallagher Jr. and Derek Klena.
As a successful singer/songwriter, Julia performs with multiple bands across NYC and along the East Coast, bringing her distinctive blend of pop, folk, and rock to diverse audiences. She also appeared on Apple TV and in recording studios as both a featured artist and instrumentalist.
Coming from an artistic family — her father a longtime choir director and her mother a choreographer — Julia grew up immersed in music and theatre. Alongside her performance career, she has over a decade of teaching experience, developing curriculum and serving as a music director and private instructor for students of all ages.
Julia believes in creating a safe, encouraging space for students to explore and take creative risks. She tailors lessons in violin, voice, piano, and guitar to meet each student’s goals, nurturing healthy technique, curiosity, and a lifelong love of music.
