Kevin is a Juilliard-trained music educator and multi-woodwind performer based in New York City, originally from Atlanta, GA. He currently teaches clarinet and saxophone at PS9 Sarah Anderson on the Upper West Side and has worked with programs like Jazz House Kids and Juilliard’s Music Advancement Program, helping young musicians grow in skill and confidence.

As a performer, Kevin has played in venues around the world, including Carnegie Hall and across Europe during the inaugural NYO Jazz tour with Dianne Reeves and Sean Jones. His performance credits also include collaborations with artists such as Jon Batiste, Endea Owens, the Roy Hargrove Big Band, and Igmar Thomas & Revive Big Band.

His debut album Oliver blends swing, gospel, R&B, and Atlanta culture, featuring original music that reflects his personal story and musical roots. A 2019 YoungArts Finalist and a Boston Sax Shop artist, Kevin is passionate about using music as a vehicle for love, honesty, and connection.

Kevin’s teaching is rooted in a people-first approach, emphasizing empathy, curiosity, and a genuine love for music. He fosters a supportive and inspiring learning environment, encouraging students to grow in both skill and self-awareness through a mix of modeling and guided reflection.
