Mitch is a professional drummer and percussionist based in Manhattan, New York. Born and raised in Lancaster Pennsylvania, Mitch discovered a love for the drums at the age of eleven and had his first private lesson shortly after. In his professional career, Mitch plays a variety of styles but most frequently can be heard playing pop, rock, funk, R&B and musical theater. He has played with bands all over the country and toured on cruise ships across the globe! 

 

While attending Lebanon Valley College, Mitch studied a wide range of styles and techniques. From rudimental snare drum, classical/chamber percussion, and all styles on the drum set. Mitch is thoroughly equipped to teach any styles, genres and levels to aspiring drummers and percussionists. And Mitch is not only a drummer! He graduated with a degree in Audio and Music Production and a minor in Music Business. Mitch uses these skills often in his work, both as a freelance session musician, and an independent music producer. 

 

Mitch believes that music is a tool that we use to better understand and communicate with each other with compassion and humility. As a teacher, Mitch strives to foster a safe environment where students can learn to freely express themselves through music.
