Felicia is a classical and musical theatre singer and voice teaching artist. She holds a Master of Music in Voice Performance and Pedagogy and a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from Westminster Choir College, where she developed a strong foundation in both vocal artistry and voice science.

A proud voice-science enthusiast and lifelong learner, Felicia believes that understanding how the voice works empowers singers with confidence, freedom, and agency. Her research has been featured at respected national conferences including the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) National Conference and the Voice Foundation Annual Symposiums, and she is actively involved with Westminster Choir College’s Voice Pedagogy Institute, where she runs the voice lab each summer.

Felicia plays an active leadership role within NATS, serving at the chapter, regional, and national levels. She is a leader of the NATS Affinity Group for Children and Youth, advocating for young singers and supporting teachers who work with this age group, and was recently honored with the NATS Emerging Leader Award for her service and impact.

In the studio, Felicia approaches teaching as a collaborative partnership grounded in trust, curiosity, and open communication. Her lessons are rooted in voice science and motor learning theory, but always presented in a way that feels accessible, engaging, and empowering. She helps students understand the why behind vocal exercises and artistic choices, giving them tools to explore their voices with confidence and independence.

Mindfulness, body mapping, and kinesthetic awareness are central to her work, supporting a strong mind–body connection. Felicia also believes deeply in play-based learning and makes space for experimentation, creativity, and joy because curiosity and fun are essential to lasting growth. Above all, Felicia hopes her students leave lessons not only as stronger singers, but as more self-aware, confident individuals who trust their process and feel connected to their voices and bodies.
